Clinical trial 1

Go2KA1 fast-acting properties and ability to control carbohydrates via alpha-glucosidase inhibition were evaluated in a crossover, randomized, placebo-controlled human clinical trial involving 13 healthy subjects

Significant reductions in post-meal blood sugar levels were observed for the Go2KA1® group compared to placebo (Figure 1). Blood glucose was 13% lower in the Go2KA1® group after 30 minutes while the area-under-the-curve (AUC) over the entire 2-hour test period was reduced by 8.8%. The Go2KA1® peak glucose level (Cmax) was significantly lower, and the timing of peak blood sugar (Tmax) was delayed by 40% in the Go2KA1® group (Figure 2).

Clinical trial 2

In this study, healthy subjects took a single 500 mg dose of either Go2KA1or placebo 20 minutes prior to consumption of a single serving of bread (58 g carbohydrates). The postprandial glucose level through oral tolerance test was evaluated in both groups.

As seen in figure 3, Go2KA1® supplementation resulted to significantly lower postprandial blood glucose level compared to placebo group. Blood glucose was 11% lower in the Go2KA1 group after 30 minutes while the area-under-the-curve (AUC) over the entire 2-hour test period was reduced by 6.8%. Finally, the Go2KA1 peak glucose level (Cmax) was significantly lower (8.9%) (Figure 3)

Clinical trial 3

Researchers found that Go2KA1 reduced both long-term blood glucose and post-prandial blood glucose levels in a “Gold Standard”, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled human clinical trial of longer duration. 51 healthy subjects took 500 mg of either Go2KA1 or placebo three times daily for 12 weeks After a 12-hour washout period at the end of the study, post-prandial blood sugar was evaluated by giving subjects 75 g of glucose using an Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT).

Compared to week 0 results, post-meal blood sugar levels in Go2KA1® subjects at week 12 were significantly reduced. Post-meal blood sugar was reduced by 9.1% and 8.6% at 30 minutes and at 60 minutes (Figure 4), AUC over the 2-hour test period was 6% lower, and Cmax was 8.7% less at the end of the study than at week 0.

Clinical trial 4

HbA1c is a scientifically advanced test that measures the average blood glucose level over the previous 12-week period. It is a highly accurate way of evaluating long-term blood sugar maintenance and so is a preferred method used by doctors

As seen in Figure 5, a glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) test was performed at the end of the 12-week clinical trial. Consumption of Go2KA1® resulted in a significant reduction in HbA1c from 6.36 to 6.11 after 12 weeks whereas control group increased the HbA1c level.

Clinical trial 6
